Dance Bomb with Jon Tigert’s Corner Pocket Jazz Band
Swing dance in Penn Square with the Lancaster dance community this First Friday!
Lindy Hop (also known as swing dancing) is a street dance born out of the African American communities in Harlem, New York during the 1920’s. It is a fun-filled, rich-in-history, community-oriented dance still alive today and we invite YOU to join us for an evening on the square, dancing to live music. We are thrilled to have Jon Tigert and his Corner Pocket Jazz Band, based out of Baltimore, keeping us swinging all night. Whether you are out for an evening on the town, dinner with a date, or simply enjoy good hot jazz, we invite you to join us in the Fulton Bank Quadrant right in center city Lancaster.
